Brighton have launched moves for two youngsters with less than 12 hours to go before the transfer deadline.

Sky Sports man Mark McAdam says the Seagulls have are finalising details and a medical for Viitorul Constanta midfielder Tudor Baluta.

Sardar Azmoun’s move to the Premier League is off after Wolves and Rubin Kazan failed to agree the terms of the deal.

Chelsea misfit Danny Drinkwater is planning to stay at Stamford Bridge despite having no place in Maurizio Sarri’s team.

Fulham and West Ham have both been tipped to offer the 2016 Premier League winner a route away from Chelsea.

However, Express Sport understands Drinkwater is planning to hold out for an end of season switch.

The England international is likely to have more options to choose from in the summer, with clubs on the lookout for permanent signings.

10.28 UPDATE: Peter Crouch to make Premier League return

Premier League icon Peter Crouch is on his way back to the top flight with Burnley, it has been reported.

The Telegraph’s John Percy tweeted: “It’s happening. Peter Crouch – 38 yesterday – is returning to the Premier League and is on his way for a medical at #Burnley.

“Sam Vokes to Stoke is also close to completion for around £7m #scfc”

Crouch is best known for his stints with Liverpool, Portsmouth, Tottenham and Stoke in the Premier League, as well as his prolific England career.

Marko Arnautovic could leave West Ham in the summer despite extending his contract until 2023, Jack Collison believes.

“I think there’s a potential [Arnautovic will leave in the summer] isn’t there,” Hammers old boy Collison said.

“Your best players are always going to be linked with big moves away. A bit of a surprise with China, I’m going to be honest.

“I think if it’s one of the top four, top six coming in, as West Ham fans you think: ‘Okay, look, he’s trying to move on to play Champions League football.'”

Manchester United have this morning loaned Matty Willock to Crawley Town for the rest of the season.

Willock, brother of Arsenal ace Joe, is yet to make his senior debut having been on the Red Devils’ books since 2012.

But he has gained experience of senior football with Utrecht in Holland and St Mirren in Scotland.

Willock should be available for Crawley when they face Bury, who may have Rangers’ Jordan Rossiter among their ranks, on Saturday.

Out-of-favour Chelsea defender Gary Cahill may complete a surprise deadline day move to Serie A giants Juventus.

Italian transfer guru Alfredo Pedulla claims Juventus are serious about a loan raid for the former England international.

Chelsea are happy for Cahill to go today because he is not in Maurizio Sarri’s plans for the rest of the season.

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has hinted he is flying to China today to complete his move.

Shandong Luneng are believed to have agreed a fee with United for the Belgium international.

And Fellaini has suggested he is gearing up to sign for the Chinese Super League club.

Fellaini has posted a picture of himself and friends at Brussels Airport, captioned: “Let’s go.”

West Ham are closing in on a club-record deal for Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, it has been reported.

Manuel Pellegrini is keen to bring in a striker to help propel his team up the Premier League table.

And Sky Sports reckon a £45m deal for Gomez, which meets his release clause, is close to completion.

Gomez could form a partnership with Marko Arnautovic, who has confirmed he is staying at West Ham.

Manchester United have sold young defender Ro-Shaun Williams to Shrewsbury.

In the wake of his permanent move, Williams said: “Yeah I’m delighted, I’m really happy I’m just looking to getting started playing here.

“There was good interest from the club, it’s got a good fanbase and I’m just looking forward to getting some league minutes in me.

Newcastle are set to follow up their imminent club-record signing of Miguel Almiron by wrapping up two loan deals.

The Toon will pay an initial £1m fee Monaco defender Antonio Barreca, with the option to buy him in the summer for about £8m.

Arsenal have only got the chance to sign Inter Milan wideman Ivan Perisic because Manchester United were unwilling to meet his price tag.

That is according to journalist Lars Siverston, who claims United were in for the Croatia international last summer.

“Jose Mourinho was keen to have him at United but United weren’t prepared to pay the kind of transfer fee Inter wanted for him because he’s also 29, if I’m not mistaken,” Siverston said.

“So a loan deal to Arsenal would seem to be slightly less exciting.”

Miguel Almiron has yet to kick a ball for Newcastle but has already brought the feel good factor to St James’ Park, according to Matt Ritchie.

The midfielder, penalty hero of Newcastle’s shock 2-1 win over Manchester City on Tuesday, said that news of Almiron’s impending arrival was just the tonic the players needed to beat the champions.

“The fans want signings so I am sure they’re pleased and it will be good for the group,” Ritchie said. “When a new player comes in, it not only boosts the fans but the players as well because everyone wants to impress in training.

Fulham have been handed the opportunity to sign Croatian World Cup star Domagoj Vida from Besiktas.

Fulham have the worst defensive record in the Premier League and Claudio Ranieri is also trying to sign Chelsea’s Gary Cahill.

Besiktas are already close to signing 23-year-old Uruguayan Mauricio Lemos as a replacement for Vida, 28.

Vida was linked with Liverpool last summer after impressing in Croatia’s shock run to the World Cup final.

Arsenal could re-sign Ismael Bennacer 18 months on from selling the midfielder to Empoli.

Burnley have slapped a £9m price tag on Stoke target Sam Vokes as they look to fund their move for Birmingham striker Che Adams.

Sean Dyche’s Burnley are happy for Adams to stay at Birmingham on loan until the end of the season if they agree a deal to sign him before today’s transfer deadline.

Burnley are scrapping with Southampton to sign Birmingham’s top scorer Adams, who notched his 15th goal of the season at Swansea on Tuesday.

Leicester look poised to land young Belgium star Youri Tielemans in a £20m loan swap with Monaco.

Manchester United legend Andy Cole is tipping Liverpool to spend big in the summer whether or not their Premier League title bid is successful.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has revealed Jordan Rossiter is on his way to Bury for the rest of the season.

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is the target of a £100m plan being devised by Real Madrid, reports claim.

Rashford is enjoying a strong run of form which began just prior to Jose Mourinho’s sacking back in December.

The Sun claim Real are willing to pay £100m for the forward, as well as offering him £250,000 a week to head to the Bernabeu.
